Tech Square ATL Social Club’s Very Own Performs at Historical Inauguration
Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to announce we have a local celebrity in our midst! Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club’s very own, Malcolm Henry, recently performed at the historic inaugural parade a few weeks ago. Following the momentous occasion, he was interviewed by FOX 5 Atlanta, right here at The Clubhouse.

The recent Howard University grad, who shares his alma mater with Vice President Kamala Harris, was one of only two alumni invited to perform with the marching band, Showtime. With only a couple of weeks to prepare, the International Business major had to navigate his nerves – coupled with practicing with a group that hadn’t assembled for almost a year due to the pandemic closing Howard's campus last spring – no easy feat!
“This was a performance of a lifetime and a surreal opportunity to be a true part of history,” said Henry, reminiscing on the eventful day. “It’s a story that I’ll be able to brag to my children about and it’s a performance that I’ll never forget! Thank you Kamala for paving the roadmap for future generations to come.”

Just like music is a personal outlet for the current Consulting Analyst for Accenture, Henry is also appreciative of other outlets as well: “When it comes to Tech Square ATL Social Club, one thing I thoroughly enjoy about it is its welcoming community environment of professionals, especially in a time where individuals aren’t allowed to return to their normal work settings. This space has been key to me keeping sane as a normal extrovert in the office. Being able to stay socially distant while regaining a human element in my work environment is extremely important to me and TSQATL Social Club has provided that for me – and more!”
