Membership Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they affect your membership to Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club (the “we” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions describe your (the “Member” or “Members”) rights and obligations in connection with your receipt and use of the services provided by Tech Square ATL Social Club in connection with your Membership and Collaborative/Shared Workspace/Coworking Space access, also known as The Clubhouse (the “Space” or “Spaces”).
1. Membership Integrity. You as the Member will not share your account credentials or mobile key access with any other individual for their use in place of you.
2. Regular Hours. Our regular hours are between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, with the exceptions of local holidays and bank holidays. All Hot Desks, Conference Rooms, and Private Offices/Study Rooms are subject to availability and can only be reserved during regular hours. For more information about reserving Space, please submit a request to membership@techsquareatl.com.
3. Sign-In and Entry. All Members are required to sign in with their member ID via the iPad before they enter the Space. If you forgot your member ID, you can look it up via the email address on your account. Additionally, all Members are required to have a clear profile picture uploaded to their account to be able to access The Clubhouse. Members are not permitted to unlock the door to The Clubhouse unless you are standing next to the door you are unlocking. You agree that if you enter The Clubhouse without using the mobile app to unlock the doors, you are required to sign in with your member ID via the sign-in iPad before entering the space. If you hold The Clubhouse door open for someone, it is your responsibility to make sure they sign in with their member ID, or check they have already signed in by looking at the “daily check-ins” screen at the front.
4. Guest Policy. Non-members are welcome to the Space, but must be accompanied by a Residency Member, unless you are a Day Pass Member. Members are required to sign in all of their guests with their full name and their valid email whenever they enter the Space. Each guest sign-in must be associated with a Residency Member. Residency Members are only allowed three (3) guests a month (Community Members do not get guest passes).
If the Member exceeds the provision of three (3) guest passes per month, the Member authorizes Tech Square ATL Social Club to charge them $10 per guest. If the member fails, or if TSQATL Social Club suspects that the Member has failed, to comply with the guest sign-in requirement and the provision of (3) guest passes per month, the Member authorizes Tech Square ATL Social Club to charge their credit card in the amount of $25 for each infraction.
5. Conduct. Members are not permitted to perform any activity that is reasonably likely to be disruptive, damaging, or dangerous to Tech Square ATL Social Club, our employees or agents, other members, and any guests. You may be held liable (and do hereby authorize us to charge you) for the repair cost for all damage to the Space and items therein caused by you or your guests. Members must also adhere to our standard code of conduct, which includes always remaining respectful to others and to the Space.
Tech Square ATL Social Club has a zero-tolerance policy. Members and guests who perform any misconduct, including but not limited to, the following behaviors will be immediately terminated:
Fighting
Rowdy, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior
Theft or vandalism
Possession or use of weapons of any kind
Verbal abuse of staff, members, and guests
6. Respect. This is a shared Space. All Members are expected to treat this community Space with respect on a daily basis by upholding The Clubhouse Rules, which include, but are not limited to:
Wiping down whiteboards after use
Washing dishes after use
Disposing of any trash
Picking up after any accidental spillage
Making sure the outside doors are secure and all the lights turned off if you are the last to leave the Space
Notifying Tech Square ATL Social Club staff members of any facility or furniture malfunctions
7. Property. We are not responsible for any property you leave behind anywhere in the Space. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have retrieved all of your personal items prior to leaving. Prior to the termination or expiration of your Tech Square ATL Social Club Membership, you must remove all of your property from all Tech Square ATL Social Club Spaces. After providing you with reasonable notice, we will be entitled to dispose of any property remaining anywhere in the Space and you waive any claims or demands regarding such property or our handling of such property. You will be responsible for paying any fees reasonably incurred by us regarding such removal.
8. Safety. For security purposes, we may regularly record via video certain areas of the Space. If we deem it reasonably necessary, we may disclose information about you to satisfy applicable law, rule, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect us, our members, or other individuals, or any of our or their property. It is your obligation to notify any of your guests about this policy.
9. Consent. For content and promotional purposes, you agree to grant Tech Square ATL Social Club and its authorized representatives permission to record on photography, film, and/or video, pictures and/or videos of your attendance and participation. You further agree that any or all of the material photographed or filmed may be used, in any form, as part of any future publications, promotions, social promotions, brochures, and/or other printed and digital materials used to promote Tech Square ATL Social Club and further that such use shall be without payment of fees, royalties, special credit, or other compensation. If you wish not to be photographed and/or filmed, please contact a TSQATL team member at membership@techsquareatl.com. You also agree to our standard Membership Directory consent, which includes the use and sharing of your email for communications.
10. Billing and Payments. Membership terms are on a monthly basis. Invoices and automatic payments are sent and processed on the first of each month. Initial Membership sign-ups will have their first payment prorated. Membership billing is active for a minimum of 31 days. Membership packages initially purchased after the 15th of each month are required to pay for one full month of Membership immediately following the prorated period before having the option to cancel their Membership.
An active credit card must remain on file at all times. Your card will only be charged as appropriate in alignment with your Membership type, or if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions as outlined above. If a credit card is invalid, expired, or removed from your account, your Membership will be suspended along with your access to the Space effective immediately.
11. Cancellation. You may cancel your Membership at any time (after your first full month of payment) by logging into your account page. Cancellations are not prorated, and your Membership will continue to be active until the first of the following month. We do not provide refunds upon cancellation of your account with respect to amounts already paid. You will remain liable for past due amounts, and we may exercise our rights to collect due payment, despite termination or expiration of your Tech Square ATL Social Club Membership.
12. Termination. If you fail, or if we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, or at any other time when we in our reasonable discretion see fit to do so, we may, at our sole discretion, restrict or revoke your access to your Membership account and/or terminate your account with immediate effect and possibly without prior notice to you. In addition, we may decline to renew your Membership at the end of your billing period for any reason or for no reason. We may also at any time terminate your Membership subscription and/or mobile key access if we discontinue your Membership at any time.
Please note that if your individual account was created by a Company, (a) an authorized representative of such Company may at any time terminate your individual account by contacting us, and (b) we may terminate your account, even if the Company’s account remains active, and even if you continue to be employed or engaged by such Company.
We do not provide refunds upon termination of your account with respect to amounts already paid. You will remain liable for past due amounts, and we may exercise our rights to collect due payment, despite termination or expiration of your Tech Square ATL Social Club Membership. Regardless of billing arrangements, you are liable for any and all charges posted to your Membership.
Failure to clear any balances posted to your Membership after 48 hours will result in the termination of your Membership, which includes access to The Clubhouse.
13. Cooperation. You agree to cooperate with us. From time to time, we may investigate any actual, alleged, or potential violations of these Terms. You agree to cooperate fully in any of these inquiries. You waive any and all rights against Tech Square ATL Social Club, and agree to hold us harmless in connection with any claims relating to any action taken by us as part of our investigation.
By signing the membership agreement form, you agree to the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, and understand that failure to uphold accordingly will result in termination of your Tech Square ATL Social Club Membership, access to The Clubhouse, and mobile key access (if applicable). You understand that if you fail to comply, your membership will be revoked without prior notice.
