Believe the Hype

In April 2012, the basement suite of the Biltmore became home to a new community created for startups by startups. Absurdly, it was christened Hypepotamus. A year later, the Atlanta tech community gathered to celebrate Hype's first anniversary and the launch of hypepotamus.com as a media publication.  

The video from that night was thought to have been lost. 

A space for startups by startups opened in April 2012 in Tech Square, Atlanta. Located in a basement suite of the Biltmore, previously home to several tech startups and the original hotel bar. In April, 2013, the Atlanta tech community gathered to celebrate it's first anniversary and the launch of hypepotamus.com as a media publication.
