The Sweet Treat Our Community Craves
Every week at The Clubhouse, we pose a question on our big conversation board about what’s been on the radar for our members lately. This is designed to not only spark conversations and encourage collaboration, but to also allow us to better know our community members in a fun and unique way. Recently, we asked our community members what their favorite cereal is.
TEP Talk: Body Hacking and The Future of Cybernetics
Inspired by recent developments in cybernetics, we sent personal Power Meal (an hour to gather over food and have thoughtful conversations with other community members) invitations to a curated list of biomedical professionals and researchers in the Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club community. Over a shared meal, this thought-provoking community conversation centered around “hacking” the human body with modifications that interact with technology.

Innovators Our Community Looks Up To
Every week at The Clubhouse, we pose a question on our big conversation board about what’s been on the radar for our members lately. This is designed to not only spark conversations and encourage collaboration, but to also allow us to better know our community members in a fun and unique way. Recently, we asked if you could have anyone in history be your mentor, who would it be and why?
Women in Tech Square: Where Their Confidence Comes From
On our social platforms throughout the month, we celebrated Women’s History Month by highlighting strong women in our community right here at Tech Square. And as Women’s History Month comes to a close, we connected with them And as Women’s History Month comes to a close, we connected with them – and a few more exceptional women in our community – because we wanted to know: Where does their confidence come from?
TEP Talk: The Rev-Ale-Lation of Master Brewer’s First-Ever Community Beer
After several dreary, cold, and rainy days early last week, the sunshine finally came out Thursday – just in time for part-two of our Mind of a Maker activation hosted at Technology Enterprise Park (TEP). During the Rev-Ale-Lation event, Master Brewer, Nicholas Fowler, tapped the Dry Irish Stout he brewed a few weeks earlier, revealed the winning beer name the community voted for, and was quizzed on random beer trivia questions.

Mixing Memorization and Mimosas in Honor of Pi Day
At Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club, we love a good reason to celebrate. And since Sunday, March 14 was Pi Day and Albert Einstein’s birthday, what better way to commemorate these holidays than to host our very first Math + Mimosas series – a great way to nerd out with other community members while catching up over complimentary adult beverages. So, in honor of such an occasion, we went to the Centergy One lobby during lunch last Friday to put the memorization skills of our community members to the test – all with a Pi theme, of course.
Taking Flight: The Future of Personal Transportation
On this month 22 years ago, the first nonstop hot air balloon flight around the world was completed by Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones. On March 21, 1999, they travelled 25,361 miles on a hot air balloon in 21 days. This had us thinking about how since then, aerospace technology has advanced in ways that may bring us the pod racers we saw in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (also released in 1999) sooner rather than later. From personal jet packs to flying motorcycles, here are three examples of technology that will take us gliding in the air from point A to B.
Mar10 Party Celebrations: Pairing Nostalgia with New Tech
On Wednesday, March 10, community members stopped by the Centergy One lobby to celebrate Mar10 (Mario) Day – an annual holiday recognizing the entire fan-favorite franchise. Hosted by Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club, the Mario Party Coffee Talk (which is a great way to catch up and caffeinate with other community members) included a variety of different video games to play – from the newest Mario Kart with augmented reality (AR) to throwing it back with some retro nostalgia – and of course, some piping hot coffee.
Technology is Brewing Innovation at These Local Establishments
With the need for safe, social interactions increasing and temperatures steadily rising, we’re embarking on what we’ve dubbed “perfect patio weather season.” You know, that time of year when your allergies are in full swing, yet you still want to be outdoors 24/7. And what pairs better with the scent of flowers blooming in the air and more sunshine throughout the day (thanks daylight savings!) than a nice cold, refreshing beer? Pretty much nothing. Except, maybe pizza.
TEP Talk: What’s In Your Mars Mission Kit?
Ever since the Perseverance rover’s successful Mars landing last month, the excitement around the possibilities of ancient life on the red planet have been abuzz among our community. The touchdown sparked our curiosity to see what our members would take on a 90-day mission to Mars (aside from essentials), so we caught up with the biomedical engineers and chemists at Technology Enterprise Park (TEP) about it during an early morning Coffee Talk.

TEP Talk: Equal Parts Art and Science at Fe-Brew-Ary Event
On a beautiful and unseasonably warm Thursday last week, we were fortunate enough to spend the entire day outside at Technology Enterprise Park (TEP) with Master Brewer, Nicholas Fowler, for our part-one of our Mind of a Maker event. The Feb-Brew-Ary festivities included an end-to-end brewing demo, insight into the art and science behind brewing great beer, and even the opportunity to suggest a name for the first-ever TEP beer.
