Bits of Good Hosts Pylon for a Tech Talk at Tech Square

Last week, the Georgia Tech student group Bits of Good welcomed the San Francisco–based startup Pylon to The Clubhouse for an evening of learning and connection. Nearly 100 students gathered to hear from the team and see demos that highlighted the future of web development.

The session was led by Pylon frontend engineer and Bits of Good alum, Matt Chen, who walked attendees through modern web development strategies and practical lessons from building in today’s fast-moving startup landscape. Afterward, students had the chance to network directly with Chen and Pylon co-founder Advith Chelikani, who fielded questions about engineering, product design, and career pathways.

Pylon’s visit came on the heels of their recent $31 million Series B funding round. Backed by Y Combinator and General Catalyst, the company is building what they describe as the first AI-native support platform for businesses. This vision resonated with students eager to see where AI-driven tools are headed.

By the end of the evening, students walked away with fresh insights into engineering, design, and entrepreneurship. At the same time, Pylon continues to expand its presence in Tech Square and throughout Atlanta as it recruits the next generation of talent emerging from the city.
