Code for Atlanta Hosts first In-Person Civic Hack Night Showcase Since 2020
After a several-month hiatus to allow leadership the opportunity to focus on organizational strategy and vision, Code for Atlanta was back with a vengeance – and in-person! And we at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club were honored that The Clubhouse was the designated choice for the group to host their first public gathering since early 2020.
Starting the School Year with Square on Fifth
Late August means more than the (to some, early) arrival of all things pumpkin and other fall flavors. It’s also the start of a new school year (and football!). And while our recent activations have proved otherwise, the summer is typically a bit slower with the absence of students bustling around Tech Square and The Clubhouse. So, we were beyond excited to team up with local student housing, Square on Fifth (SQ5), so they could use our 9,000 square foot facility as the check-in site for new residents.
Community Members Flock to Participate in Parliament of Owls Parade
In order to highlight creativity and connect community members from all over Midtown and the greater Atlanta area, Chantelle Rytter created the Parliament of Owls lantern parade back in 2016. Described as “elegantly weird,” the event is a black and white owl-themed community lantern parade featuring a Second Line Band and parade-goers marching down Peachtree Street at night. Not one to miss out on the fun – or a chance to spark connections – we invited Chantelle to The Clubhouse to assist members in making lanterns of their very own.

As Georgia’s technology business incubator, the organization assists in ideation through commercial success and everything in between, with their latest efforts including involvement in a series of events across metro Atlanta. And since ATDC takes residency right in Tech Square’s Centergy One building, we knew it made perfect sense to team up with them for an unforgettable evening.
