Student Group Supporting Social Good Hosts Spring Launch Party

To help promote social good, discuss current projects with local nonprofits, and encourage new member registrations, Bits of Good (BoG) hosted their Spring 2024 Launch Party at The Clubhouse in late January.

To kick things off, BoG initiated new members into the prestigious organization and showed a presentation to help guide themselves throughout the semester with the following information:

  • How to conduct yourself on Slack (their main communication platform)

  • New member expectations

  • Attendance policy

Following the initiation and new member icebreakers, fresh faces joined returning members to enjoy complimentary pizza and soda while being introduced to the executive board and nonprofits BoG would be working with this semester.

Attendees heard from Faculty Advisor, Ronnie Howard, as well as William Iber and Nathan Bailey from the Atlanta Professional Fire Foundation, one of the nonprofits BoG is working with.

From internal goals for each project to missions of each partnership, the evening was as informative as it was entertaining.
