Two Company Launches Celebrated in Tech Square

Early March marked the beginning of an important investment by Atlanta into its future – the birth of the city being a premier tech hub. This momentous occasion was commemorated with the launch of two startups from right here in Tech Square – SellRaze and the Atlanta Collegiate Entrepreneurship Syndicate (ACES)!

Founders David Serrao (Director of Events, Startup Exchange), Tyler Ma (CTO, SellRaze), Jeff Mao (CEO, SellRaze), and Donnie Beamer (Director, ACES) invited local community members to The Clubhouse to network, learn more about the companies, and celebrate the official launches.

The evening began with an open floor networking session, where guests mixed and mingled with one another, many of which were influential entrepreneurs and builders around Atlanta and Georgia. They discussed the exciting new launch and their plans for the future of Atlanta as a tech hub.

Next the presentations began. First to the stage was SellRaze, sharing information regarding their progress as a company, their funding journey, their future plans, and their new technologies, including SellRaze Snap. Following that was Donnie Beamer, who discussed how his new organization, ACES, is helping to boost technology and innovation in Atlanta by building a strong foundation within universities. Lastly, attendees engaged in a Fireside Chat with 1517, which delved into important topics for student builders, such as the intricacies of venture capital and what 1517 specifically looks for in potential founders and companies.

Once the presentations wrapped up, a DJ played music while guests continued to network and celebrate the new launches the rest of the evening.
